** If you had previous tattoo work done by another artist, in the area to be treated, you MUST email me some CLEAR photos for my approval before booking, with no makeup, no filters and in bright lighting, SUPER CLEAR PHOTOS PLEASE!
1. The area to be treated must be free of moles, warts, rashes or any skin irregularities, The skin should be in HEALTHY condition! You must not have had botox, chemical peels or any facial serums/creams or facials including retinol, acne medication regardless if you don’t put it on the area to be treated (ex. eyebrows) , including hair growth serums, etc in the area to be treated for atleast 4 weeks prior to your appointment. These products can effect your color retention! Accutane (or like acne medication) should not be used for a year prior (yes! all this is serious if you expect a good color retention). You need to be prepared to stay out of the sun, no excessive sweating, and no bodies of water for atleast 2 weeks. Age, type of skin, life style (i.e- smokers, sun worshipers, clients who use anti aging and acne products, have oily skin, or sweat alot) all plays a role how well you retain color and retain color over time. for example, someone who is in the sun alot, uses alot of exfoliating, anti aging or acne products is going to fade color faster than someone who isnt. Young buttery skin is easier to tattoo than aged wrinkled skin. I do my best on everyone, I always take my time and never rush through an appointment. Everyone requires different things and i work accordingly, but your cooperation in precare and aftercare is just as important for the best end result.
Eyebrow Clients -please come with your brow makeup on so i can have an idea of thickness, shape, and placement of what you like, full face makeup is ok to wear too! If you are using anti aging/wrinkle creams and/or serums, and acne medications regardless if you put it directly on your brows, you could have poor color retention, you should stop all anti aging and acne products 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
Eyeliner clients- please no eye makeup at your appt, other than eyeliner for example purposes to give me an idea of what you want. no mascara or shadow please. , I can not work on people using glaucoma, lash serum or those who have lash extensions. Client with visible capillaries (tiny veins) in the eyelids are not candidates for eyeliner, if just a couple capillaries are visible, a possible "lash liner" can be done JUST IN THE EYELASH LINE, email me some SUPER CLEAR photos if you're unsure.
Lip tattooing clients- lips can NOT be chapped for tattooing, and must be in healthy condition. If you are prone to herpes outbreaks, it is a possible you could have an outbreak because we are agitating the lip tissue by tattooing it. It is suggested you take your herpes medications as directed the week prior to your appointment to prevent an outbreak. You could carry the herpes virus and not know it, so i strongly recommend you take a cold sore/herpes tablet medication the week prior to your appointment. Doing this does not guarantee an outbreak wont occur, BUT it usually works! Clients with dark color lips, are not candidates for standard lip tattooing. dark lips with purple or brown tones require color correcting sessions. Lips that are not even in tone may not tattoo to a perfectly even color because the starting background was not the same. for example the top lip is darker than the bottom, after tattooing the top lip may still appear darker than the bottom.
2. I can not work on you if you are under 18, pregnant, breastfeeding,, have heart disease, immune disorders, HIV/AIDS, or Hepatitis, have cancer or undergoing chemotherapy. If you’re diabetic, it must be 1000% under control, if you typically do not heal wounds well, you’re not a candidate. Some medications can play a roll in how well you retain color, for example as blood thinning medications and thyroid medications.
3. You should have NO caffeinated drinks, asprin, or such medications that thin the blood 24 hours prior to your appointment time (of course never stop taking Dr. prescribed medication unless you OK with your doctor). You should not work out the day of your appointment either.
I can NOT stress the above enough!!
CHILDREN UNDER 18 ARE NOT PERMITED IN MY STUDIO, I have room for 1 guest. My studio room is very small.
** It is important to understand all procedures need a finishing perfecting touch up 5-12 weeks later for a completed and perfected look. touch ups are not free and cost more the longer you wait.

I use medical grade cleaning products in my studio that kill HIV/AIDS, MRSA, ETC. after every client. EVERYTHING, including the chair you sit in gets cleaned after every client. My tray, tattoo machine, cords are all covered with a disposable bag, or tattoo barrier tape, much like you see at the dentist. The needles I use are "one time use" sterilized needles and your skin is cleaned with alcohol before i get started. I wear latex FREE, Nitrile gloves. When I'm finished with you, all this gets thrown out, everything is cleaned and sanitized and all NEW barrier bags, barrier tape, machine covers, needles etc. are used for the next client. This is all to prevent infection! Once you expose yourself outside my studio, it is up to you keep the area clean, free of germs, dirt, and debris. It is important to keep the area clean to prevent contaminating your freshly tattooed skin and to prevent infection! I take every precaution to keep things clean and sanitary, once you leave my studio, you are responsible for yourself!
